Membership Exclusions & Disclosures

We believe in clear expectations. Maintenance is preventative care, not a warranty, insurance policy, or guarantee against future equipment failure.

Program Disclaimer

The Volt N' Vent Membership Program is a preventative maintenance service designed to assist in maintaining HVAC and electrical system performance, efficiency, and reliability. Membership services help identify potential concerns but do not guarantee equipment performance, prevent all breakdowns, or extend manufacturer warranties.

Not a Home Warranty or Insurance Policy

Membership is not a home warranty, insurance policy, extended service contract, or guarantee of future repair, replacement, or equipment performance. Repairs, parts, equipment replacement, warranty processing, emergency repairs, and corrective work are not included unless specifically stated in writing.

Pre-Existing Conditions

Membership services do not include correction, repair, replacement, diagnosis, or remediation of any pre-existing defects, malfunctions, code violations, safety concerns, workmanship deficiencies, installation defects, design deficiencies, or equipment failures that existed before enrollment.

Prior Contractor Workmanship

Volt N' Vent is not responsible for conditions created by previous contractors, manufacturers, installers, service providers, homeowners, handymen, property managers, tenants, utility companies, or other third parties. Any deficiencies discovered during service may be documented and presented separately as recommended repairs or corrective actions.

Deferred or Declined Repairs

Volt N' Vent is not liable for equipment failures, property damage, diminished performance, increased utility costs, safety concerns, or consequential damage resulting from repairs, upgrades, corrections, or recommendations that are declined, postponed, deferred, or not authorized by the customer.

Equipment Age and Existing Condition

Maintenance services do not restore equipment to like-new condition and do not guarantee future performance. Older equipment, obsolete equipment, improperly sized equipment, equipment operating beyond manufacturer life expectancy, and systems with excessive wear may experience failures regardless of maintenance performed.

No Breakdown Guarantee

Mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, electronic, and control system components may fail at any time due to age, wear, manufacturing defects, lack of prior maintenance, power fluctuations, environmental conditions, corrosion, dust, heat exposure, restricted airflow, improper installation, or other conditions outside Volt N' Vent's control.

Code Compliance

Maintenance visits are not comprehensive code compliance inspections. If safety concerns, code violations, or non-compliant installations are identified, Volt N' Vent may recommend corrective action. Correction of these conditions is not included in membership services unless specifically authorized and contracted separately.

Coil Cleaning Limitations

Coil cleaning included with qualifying plans is limited to routine maintenance cleaning procedures. Severe contamination, corrosion, biological growth, smoke residue, grease buildup, construction debris, matted coils, inaccessible coils, coil removal, deep restoration cleaning, or extensive equipment disassembly may require additional services and charges.

Indoor Coil Access

Indoor evaporator coil inspection and cleaning are performed only when the coil is accessible and serviceable without major disassembly, cabinet modification, refrigerant circuit opening, sheet metal reconstruction, hazardous access, or risk of equipment damage. Additional charges may apply where special access is required.

Refrigerant System Limitations

Membership services may include performance evaluation only. Refrigerant recovery, leak detection, leak repair, refrigerant addition, refrigerant replacement, refrigerant reclamation, refrigerant retrofit, refrigerant circuit modification, and refrigerant-related repairs are excluded unless specifically authorized and billed separately.

Condensate Drainage Limitations

Drain line treatment is preventative in nature and does not guarantee against future drain blockages, overflow, water damage, algae growth, improper drainage, cracked drain pans, disconnected drain lines, poor slope, or concealed drainage defects. Clearing severe blockages, replacing drain components, and repairing water damage are excluded.

Electrical System Limitations

Electrical inspections are visual and non-destructive unless otherwise stated. Membership services do not include correction of defective wiring, panel deficiencies, grounding or bonding deficiencies, overloaded circuits, code violations, surge damage, utility-related issues, concealed electrical defects, or unsafe installations.

Accessibility Limitations

Volt N' Vent is not responsible for inspecting, servicing, cleaning, or repairing components that are inaccessible, unsafe, concealed, obstructed, locked, buried, enclosed, blocked by storage, affected by pests, or otherwise unavailable at the time of service. Additional labor charges may apply for extraordinary access requirements.

Environmental and Utility Conditions

Volt N' Vent is not responsible for failures, delays, damage, or performance issues caused by power surges, utility interruptions, low voltage, high voltage, lightning, flooding, fire, extreme weather, acts of God, manufacturer defects, corrosion, pests, vandalism, improper use, or conditions beyond reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volt N' Vent's liability arising from membership services shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the annual membership plan. Volt N' Vent shall not be responsible for incidental, consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages including loss of use, loss of income, property damage, or business interruption.

HVAC Maintenance FAQs

Common questions about Volt N' Vent maintenance memberships in Las Vegas.

How often should my HVAC system be maintained in Las Vegas?

Most Las Vegas homes benefit from two maintenance visits per year: one before the cooling season and one before the heating season. Long cooling runtimes, dust, and extreme heat make routine maintenance especially important.

Does maintenance prevent all repairs?

No. Maintenance helps identify developing concerns and supports system reliability, but HVAC components can still fail due to age, wear, electrical issues, manufacturer defects, or environmental conditions.

Which plan is best for most homeowners?

The Preferred Care Plan is a strong option for many homeowners because it includes enhanced inspection, drain treatment, refrigerant performance evaluation, and outdoor condenser coil cleaning.

Can I add a second HVAC system?

Yes. Additional HVAC systems and package units can be added for $149 per year per additional unit. Additional mini-splits can be added for $99 per year per mini-split.

Protect Your Comfort Before the Heat Arrives

From seasonal maintenance to full home mechanical advocacy, Volt N' Vent is here to help your HVAC system operate safely, reliably, and efficiently throughout the Las Vegas cooling season.
